Tomato Onion Pepper Cheese Toasties – Air fryer recipe is a childhood favorite. Breakfast, brunch, or tea time are all good reasons to eat this toastie. Just air fried and without oil is a healthier option and so quick to prepare.

Often, my sister and I would prepare “bread tomato pepper cheese onion,” as we called it. These can also be called an open-faced sandwiches too.

It was our job to beat together the ingredients until a nicely mixed together. It was hard to resist the taste of the cheese along the way.

After the cheese mixture has been prepared, spread it on toast and bake it in the oven or air fry them until the cheese has melted. My Kadak Masala Chai goes great with this toastie 😊

This Tomato Onion Pepper Cheese Toasties – Air fryer Recipe is:

Ingredients

  • 3 slices – Sourdough bread
  • 1 cup – Green, & yellow bell peppers chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup – Tomatoes chopped finely
  • 2 medium – Onion chopped finely
  • 1 cup – Vegan cheddar cheese diced
  • 3 – Green chilies chopped
  • Pink salt to taste
  • 1 tsp – Black pepper powder to sprinkle
  • Olive oil for frying (optional)

How to make Tomato Onion Pepper Cheese Toasties – Air fryer Recipe step by step with photo:

  1. Take a bowl and add all the chopped green, yellow bell peppers, onions chopped and green chilies chopped.
  2. Add Vegan cheddar cheese diced.
  3. Now mix everything nicely.
  4. Now take sourdough bread and top it with the mixture we prepared.
  5. Now place the bread in an air fryer basket and air fry at 380 degrees F for 5 minutes till the cheese melts.
  6. Take out once done.
  7. For stovetop method: Heat a frying pan grease with oil it’s optional. Then place 2 sourdough bread slices on the pan.
  8. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes on low flame till the cheese melts.
  9. Take out with help of a spatula.
  10. Now serve on a plate sprinkle some black pepper powder on top.
  11. Then sprinkle some pink salt on top.
  12.  Serve hot and crispy.
