The Sesame Chicken Meat Balls recipe is a delicious homemade meatball recipe that you can enjoy on weekends together with your family and friends. It’s an easy homemade Asian-inspired chicken meatball with roasted sesame, tossed with a sweet sauce. You can make them spicy too if you would like but I had something sweet in my mind so I avoided the spiciness. I served it with fried rice mixed with coriander leaves which enhanced the taste furthermore.

I served it for lunch and sprinkled many sesame seeds to make it look more attractive. The simplest thing about this recipe is that meatballs are made really quickly because of the sauce. And once you serve them with fast burnt fried rice you’ll be able to impress anyone and it’s much better than any restaurant’s dish. Do not forget they’re also healthier than the other junk meals.

Sesame chicken meatballs are easy and cook up fast. These are sweet, sticky, and delicious meatballs. I even have deep-fried them. You can bake them also for that healthy mode. You can serve them with sticks attached to them with cocktails. It’s perfect for a celebration snack recipe.

I personally love meatballs and Sundays are meatball days for me.

The roasted sesame seeds which I added eventually added that extra delicious flavor and also the extra glamour 😉. Look how beautiful it is: 😊

These easy homemade Asian-inspired chicken meatballs are very easy to make and a really cost-effective alternative to beef, pork, and lamb. They can be served with plain rice or better yet – With Chinese fried rice. It’s better than any take-out meal in terms of flavor and is a lot healthier too.

This is an excellent Asian chicken meatballs recipe that doubles up as a delicious appetizer or a simple weeknight meal. Every weekend I don’t love the thought of preparing cheesy pasta or creamy soup recipes. Instead, I try something different.

With the right technique, I‘m sure you’ll get soft juicy chicken meatballs regardless of how they’re cooked.

Most classic meatballs are panned seared and tossed in the red sauce before being served with rice or spaghetti or in meatball subs.

These Chicken Meatballs are often stored in the freezer for 1 week. You can deep fry or bake them later also, once you feel hungry.

Let me give you the details of these meatballs 

For the meat, I even have used ground chicken but ground turkey or pork will all work fine. I seasoned them with ginger and garlic and some other herbs and spices. Plus you can use this in a one-pan dinner also. You can add vegetables of your choice also which I even have skipped here but next time needless to say.

You can bake these meatballs too if you want.

The sauce is the key to this dish – sweet, tangy spicy, and sticky. The sauce takes only a couple of minutes to cook on the stove.

Just toss the meatballs in the sauce and voila –  you have a pretty & healthy dish on your plate which is prepared with just simple cooking.

How to make Sesame Chicken Meat Balls step by step?

Chicken meatballs :

Make chicken mince in a blender. Add chopped onion, green chilly, spices, chopped coriander leaves, egg white, cornflour into the chicken. Mix everything well.

Now grease your palm with oil and take a small portion of the chicken mixture and form a small ball shape as shown below.

Like this prepare all chicken meatballs. 

Heat oil for deep frying in a pan. Put chicken meatballs one by one. Flip and rotate to cook evenly. When all the sides are golden brown take the meatballs out in tissue paper on a plate. Keep aside.

 

 

Sauce Preparation :

Take a bowl and add sugar, honey, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, water, and white vinegar. Mix everything.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the sauce mixture we prepared.

Stir continuously for three min on medium flame. Mix one tbsp cornflour with water and add to sauce.

Mix to make the sauce thick. Add fried meatballs and mix with sauce.

Now take out and serve hot with garlic butter rice or plain rice.

Now for that extra delicious flavor sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on top of the meatballs

Tips to make these Sesame chicken meatballs

  • Ensure that the ingredients which are used in making the meatballs are mixed properly or very well combined.
  • Roll the meatballs into equal sizes and shapes so that they get evenly cooked.

Serving Suggestions

Steamed rice or garlic butter fried rice, plenty of vegetables, roasted sesame seeds on top, and then a generous amount of sticky sauce drizzled on top of these meatballs.

For Chicken Meatballs

  • 500 grams – Chicken 
  • 1 tbsp – Ginger & garlic paste
  • 1 medium – Onion chopped
  • 2 – Green chilly chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp – Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp – Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp – Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp – Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tbsp – Baking Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander Chopped
  • 1– Egg white
  • 2 tbsp – Corn Flour

For Sauce

  • 1 tbsp – Sugar
  • 2 tbsp – Honey
  • 2 tbsp – Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp – Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup -Water 
  • 2 tbsp – White Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp – Corn flour + 4 tbsp water mix.
  • Roasted Sesame seeds

Instructions

Chicken Meat Balls

  1. 1.Make chicken mince in blender. Add chopped onion and green chilly. Add all the masala’s into chicken. Add chopped corriander leaves. Add egg white. Add corn flour. Mix everything well.
  2. Now grease your palm with oil and take a small portion of chicken mixture and form small ball shape as shown in video. Like this prepare all chicken meat balls.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying in a Kadai/pan. Put chicken meat balls one by one.Flip and rotate to cook evenly. When all the sides have turned golden brown take them out in a tissue paper on a plate.
  4. Keep aside.

  1. Take a bowl and add sugar, honey, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, water and white vinegar. Mix everything.

  4. Now add fried meatballs and mix with sauce.
