This pasta is delicious and simple to prepare and it has an Indian flavor.
A macaroni dish is made by boiling the pasta, sautéing it with ginger, garlic, onion, tomato, capsicum, and carrots, and then serving it.
There are several spices and seasonings available to flavor the dish, such as garlic powder, Italian seasoning, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, salt, and fresh coriander.
The pasta can also be topped with lots of butter and processed cheese. During the week, such a tasty dish can also be served for breakfast.

Macaronis is a healthy and hearty choice for any meal during the day, whether as a light brunch, the main dish, or even for an early dinner.
One such dish is masala macaroni, which never loses its appeal. The dish is classified as continental but with a touch of Indian flavor. This dish can be called Desi Macaroni.
This easy and tasty Indian masala pasta recipe saves me from having to cook something difficult and bland when I just want something quick and easy.
With macaroni, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and a few spices, you can enjoy this dish easily and fast. That was simple, wasn’t it?
I can even make it for the days when I’m tired after a super busy day at work, so it’s my favorite. It’s my comfort food, too! The Desi Masala pasta, another Italian dish infused with Indian flavors, will always hold a special place in my heart as my favorite pasta.
Consequently, this recipe is ideal for those looking for easy fusion pasta or pasta for kids. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to prepare.
- 2 cup – Boiled macaroni
- 1 cup – Carrot chopped
- 1 cup – Green bell pepper chopped
- 1 cup – Red bell pepper chopped
- 1 cup – Onion chopped
- 1/2 cup – Vegan mayonnaise/ Plain mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup – Coconut milk/ Plain milk
- 1 tbsp – Red chilly sauce
- 1 tbsp – White vinegar
- 1 tsp – Black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil
Macaroni – Take advantage of the readily available macaroni, which is readily available under various brands.
Choose the one that best suits your recipe. Salt and water are combined with it and boiled until it becomes tender. Overcooking it will make it mushy, and you won’t like the flavor.
Oil – To make masala macaroni, you can use either vegetable oil or olive oil. Adding a little butter is also a good idea.
Vegetables – This Masala Macaroni is loaded with vegetables, which makes it a favorite recipe of mine. It should be seasoned with tomatoes, onion, capsicum, carrot, peas, and beans. It is possible to add any vegetables you want.

Spice Powders – To give it that unique Indian flavor, we’ll add in some spice powders, such as red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Sauce – To add some spice and sweetness to the fusion Masala Macaroni, you can add some red chili sauce and tomato sauce.
Cheese – Adding cheese to the macaroni is optional, but I enjoy the gooey, creamy texture it adds to the dish. For this one, any processed cheese will do, as well as vegan cheese.
Mayonnaise – You can use vegan mayonnaise or plain too for a creamy texture.
Others – In addition to the ingredients listed above, you should also add ginger, garlic, lemon juice, and coriander leaves. The addition of fresh coriander will give you a fresh taste.
A nice tanginess and color are added to the dish by the lemon juice in this Masala Macaroni.

How To Make Masala Macaroni Salad – Macaroni Pasta Salad Recipes Step By Step With Photo:
- Boil water and add salt and add macaroni.
- Boil for 6 minutes. Strain the macaroni and keep it aside.
- Chop the red bell pepper, green bell pepper, carrots, and onion. I used a chopper for chopping the vegetables. Keep it aside.
- In a bowl add vegan mayonnaise, coconut milk, red chilly sauce, white vinegar, black pepper powder, salt, and olive oil.
- Give it a nice mix. Make a smooth paste and In a bowl, add all the chopped vegetables. Mix them all together.
- Now for the final part. In a bowl add the boiled macaroni, all the chopped vegetables, and pour all the mayonnaise mixture. Mix everything together.
- Your Masala Macaroni Salad is ready to be served.
Important Suggestion To Keep In Mind
- Put the pasta in a pot of boiling water and cook until soft, but do not overcook as this turns the pasta sticky.
- For maximum health and nutrition, add your choice of vegetables.
- Furthermore, you may use pasta sauce along with Indian spices to hasten the process.
- Serve it cold or at room temperature for the best flavor.
- You can use vegan sauce also if you are vegan.
As fresh vegetables are used in this so I will not recommend them to store for long because they can loose their nutritional value.
But if you want to store the excess ones then they will be good in the fridge for 1 day. When you want to consume you can first take it out and let it come to room temperature and then consume it.Print
