They serve as an excellent base for crafting a delectable gluten-free breakfast sandwich! Simply layer on an egg, cheese, tomato, ham, or any other beloved breakfast ingredients to create a truly tantalizing hash brown breakfast sandwich. This recipe is especially satisfying for those moments when you find yourself ravenously hungry on a Sunday morning! Obviously, they are full of calories so it’s best if you have it only very occasionally. It’s soul food but yes occasionally will be best to consume it. Me and my family enjoyed it so so much and wanted to have a second one also but due to hash brown calories we were restricted to only one sandwich.
Preparing this hash brown sandwich recipe is a breeze. Begin by air frying your hash browns to perfection, and personally, I find the air fryer method works wonderfully. Once your hash browns are ready, it’s time to get creative with the fillings! In my case, I opted for an air-fried chicken patty, a stovetop-poached egg, melted cheese, and a drizzle of either sriracha sauce or tandoori mayonnaise. You can also consider adding a touch of hot sauce or hollandaise sauce for an extra burst of flavor!

About Best Hash Brown Air Fryer Breakfast Sandwich
While I used to enjoy indulging in fast food and savoring hash brown potatoes, my visits to restaurants have become quite rare these days. However, when I stumbled upon a captivating TikTok video showcasing the creation of a delightful #hashbrownsandwich, I felt an irresistible urge to give it a try and I stopped searching for the best breakfast sandwich near me. I decided to elevate my breakfast sandwich by incorporating a chicken patty of course those who like ham or bacon can go for bacon strips too, then cheddar cheese, tomatoes, you can add avocadoes too, and eggs. Trust me, these sandwiches are bound to become your new breakfast favorite!
This sandwich makes for a delightful surprise to serve on Christmas Day morning, and I’m confident the entire family will be clamoring for one! In light of the escalating grocery prices, we’ve been relying on eggs as our primary source of protein for breakfast, lunch, and dinner more frequently. It’s a whole meal actually.
Ingredients
- 4 – Hash browns
- 3 – Chicken patties
- Olive oil for air frying
- Black pepper powder
- 2 – Eggs Sriracha sauce or tandoori mayonnaise
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Jalapeno Pepper Rings or slices
- Black Pepper Powder

How To Make Best Hash Brown Breakfast Sandwich Step By Step With Photo:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Now place butter paper on the air fryer basket or tray if you have an air oven air fryer.
- Now place 4 hash brown patties and two chicken patties on the butter paper. Note: If you want to brush or spray with a little oil on your hash brown or chicken or ham patty you can air fry.
- Now air fry them at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
- Take out the hash browns when crisp.
- Again air fry the chicken or ham pattice for extra 5 minutes at 400 degrees F till they are golden.
- Take out after 5 minutes when done.
- Heat a pan and add olive or any oil.
- Now crack an egg.
- Sprinkle a little salt on top of it.
- I do not like runny eggs so I fried them on both sides.
- Now take them out and keep them aside.
- Now let’s assemble: Put the hashbrown in a serving bowl.
- Now add 1 tbsp of sriracha sauce or tandoori mayonnaise to the hashbrown.
- Now spread nicely.
- Now add the lettuce leaves on top of the sauce.
- Now add the chicken patty.
- Now add the two tomato slices.
- Now add half the cheese slice you can fold it and add one full cheese slice. Now add Jalapeno Pepper Rings or slices.
- Now add the poached egg on top of it.
- Now sprinkle black pepper powder.
- Now complete this sandwich by adding the second hash brown patty.
- Now if you want to enjoy this patty nicely just wrap it with parchment paper nicely and enjoy this scrumptious sandwich.
Storage Suggestion
Well, I will not suggest storing it as it’s so delicious it will be hard not to eat those bad guys. Kidding😂 absolutely wrap it with parchment paper or food wrapper and store it in the fridge when you want to eat them just thaw for 15 minutes and then air fry or bake the at 5 minutes at 380 Degrees F.
How Can We Bake In Oven
Yes sure bake the hashbrown patty in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F. Also, bake the chicken patty for 15 minutes in the oven for 15 minutes. The rest procedure is the same for frying eggs as well as assembling them.
