About Air Fryer Hash Brown Avocado Toast With Egg Recipe

You must give this a try if you enjoy conventional avocado and egg toast or the typical egg and potato breakfast combination. It’s ideal for those who enjoy savory egg breakfast recipes. I have used store-bought hashbrowns here but I have a detailed recipe on my website for Air Fryer Hash Browns from scratch. Go and check it out.

This Hash Brown Avocado Toast With Egg Recipe is really simple to prepare. It’s merely a matter of assembling, seasoning, and serving after poaching the egg while baking or air frying the hash browns.

I knew I had to attempt this hash brown avocado toast after seeing it on TikTok this past year (since I simply love a wonderful TikTok recipe). You’ll adore this dish, I’m sure of it!

This delightful little open-faced breakfast sandwich is a full, healthful, vegetarian, and gluten-free way to start the day. Because of the mashed avocado and the delicious fried egg on top, this sandwich has a lot of protein and healthy fats, which will help you avoid mid-morning cravings.

If you don’t want to use hash browns, top some toasted focaccia or sourdough bread with the toppings instead!

Ingredients

  • 2 – Hash brown store-bought
  • 1 – Ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup – Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp – Black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Avocado oil for air frying hash browns
  • 2 – Egg pouch (optional)

Hash Browns: Go to your neighborhood grocery store and purchase some frozen hash brown patties. or create your own hash brown patties at home!

Eggs: How do you like your eggs to be cooked? According to the directions, I poached each egg sunny side up with a runny yolk. For a firmer yolk, increase the cooking time.

Avocado: A ripe avocado is mashed. When an avocado’s top and bottom are soft but not mushy, it is ripe (not around the center). Your best chance is to use the touch test even if the peel may appear somewhat darker when ripe. Guacamole is another option for hash browns.

Mozzarella cheese: Use mozzarella cheese for that flavourful taste.

Avocado or olive oil: Use any good oil for air frying the hash brown and frying the egg.

Seasoning: You can season the egg poach with black pepper powder and pink salt.
