Experience a traditional classic breakfast sandwich Air Fryer Chicken And Egg Breakfast Sandwich Bread Bowl with a fresh twist. A slice of chicken or ham, sharp cheddar cheese, and eggs are placed inside hollowed-out sandwich rolls that have been spread with butter, chopped garlic, and Dijon mustard. About Air Fryer Chicken And Egg Breakfast Sandwich Bread Bowl

A warm, crispy bread bowl filled with melted strong cheddar cheese, chicken, and an egg that has just the right amount of doneness. Add a few sprinkles of spring onion, fresh parsley, and everything bagel spice. What a great way to begin the day!

I played around with the boring breakfast sandwich recipe in an effort to spice up our weekend brunch. A warm bread bowl filled with broccoli cheddar soup has always been my favorite. Why not prepare a delicious breakfast with it?

One of my favorite bread bowl recipes is now, this delicious morning bread bowl is made with flavorful chicken salamieggs, and cheese.

I appreciate that you can prepare a few or many breakfast bread bowls. These are delicious. They make a wonderful meal for a weekend brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 – Burger Buns
  • 4 – Chicken Salami (Airfried for 3 min at 400 degrees F)
  • 4 – Eggs
  • 8 – Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 50 gms – Butter melted
  • 4 tbsp – Bagel seasoning
  • 2 tbsp – Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 cup – Parsley or coriander chopped
  • Pink salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder as required

How To Make air fryer baked eggs in bread bowls
Step By Step With Photo:

  1. Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 375°F air fryer. Use parchment paper over the air fryer basket or oven tray. To begin making the bread bowls, hollow out uncut sandwich burger buns.
  2. Set the buns of bread on a cutting board or you can directly place them over an air fryer tray or basket over parchment paper.
  3. Carve a bowl-shaped hole out of the top of each bun using a sharp knife.
  4. Squeeze with the help of your fingers the buns’ interiors down.
  5. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
  6. Inside each bread bowl and along the top edge, brush the mixture.
  7. Add everything bagel seasoning to the surface.
  8. Insert some chicken salami into the bowl to create a cup shape inside. Note: I air-fried the chicken salami for two minutes by brushing a little oil. (optional).
  9. On top of the chicken salami, sprinkle around 3 tablespoons of the shredded cheddar cheese. Lightly apply pressure.
  10. Whenever you crack an egg into a bread bowl, be careful. Just remember not to put any eggshells in the bread bowl.
  11. Add extra mozzarella cheese grated, parsley, pink salt, black pepper powder, and everything bagel seasoning on top. Now Air fry for 20 to 25 minutes
  12. While the eggs are cooked to your preference, continue to fry the chicken and egg sandwich bread bowls. at 375 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes of air frying. Eggs that are cooked for less time will be runny. Eggs will be firmer after a longer cooking period. Note: I have used a 32QT Large Air Fryer Oven so it took me 25 minutes but if you are using a regular round basket air fryer it may only take 10 to 15 minutes.
  13. Take it out carefully once golden brown and little crisp. Mine took 20 minutes. Sprinkle some fresh parsley and scallions on top of the morning breakfast bread bowls to complete them.
  14. Sprinkle little kosher or pink salt, black pepper powder, and red chili flakes thats optional.
  15. Serve these delicious chicken egg sandwich breakfast bread bowls right away.

Important Suggestion To Keep In Mind

  1. For simple cleanup, line the air fryer basket or tray with parchment paper. It captures any melted cheese or extra eggs.
  2. When making the bread bowls, be sure to choose unsliced burger bun rolls. The ideal roll size is 4 inches.
  3. My go-to cheese for chicken and egg sandwich bread bowls is sharp cheddar. Additionally, try pepper jack, Swiss, gouda, and mozzarella.

Serving Suggestion

It’s better to serve as it is just delicious.

Storage Suggestion

It is ideal to serve the bread bowls hot in the oven. Extras can be kept in the fridge for a few days in an airtight container. I use these glass storage containers. Reheat for 30-second intervals at 60% power until thoroughly heated.
