Notes
- The cookie dough should be chilled enough as we don’t want sticky balls to form from it. If possible give two hours of chilling.
- Better to melt caramel candy for that smooth silky texture.
- same better to melt some chocolate in milk to get that silky smooth texture
Note : I have used caramel syrup as well as chocolate syrup to save some time and effort.
- After you take out your cookie dough from refrigerator make sure to make it sit for ten minutes so that the dough is not very hard.
- Two minutes are enough for baking five cookies at a time. More than it will make them rock hard. A chewy texture is great for this turtle cookies.
- Preheat oven to 350 F degree and don’t forget to use parchment paper or silicon baking tray if using oven. Bake for 10-15 min each batch
- After taking out from microwave be sure you wear gloves be careful not to burn your hand as the tray are quite quite hot.
- After taking out remember to cool on the tray itself before transferring them to the cooking wire.
- Store this cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 5 days.
