- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tbsp. sea salt to taste
- 1/2 cup of corn flour, preferably cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. black pepper powder
- 1tbsp tbsp. Smoked Paprika powder
- 2 tbsp. dried parsley
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Ensure the chicken is dry. Take the wings out of the refrigerator and gently pat them dry using a paper towel.
- Prepare the rub by combining cornflour, red chili powder or paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Stir the ingredients together until well combined.
- Now, in a bowl, combine panko bread crumbs, dried parsley, and grated parmesan cheese.
- Mix nicely.
- Now, in a bowl, beat 2 eggs for egg wash. Keep aside.
- Take a bowl or box that has a cover lid, put the chicken wings in the bowl, and apply the seasoning to the wings by covering them with the spice rub and tossing until the meat is thoroughly coated.
- Now take one seasoned chicken wing and dip it in egg wash.
- Then take it out and coat it well in the panko and cheese mixture.
- Coat it nicely and remove the excess.
- Now place a piece of parchment paper on an air fryer basket or tray. Grease nicely with cooking oil.
- Now place all the coated chicken wings on the parchment paper.
- Now brush or spray cooking oil on the chicken wings nicely for extra crispiness.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Give the air fryer basket or tray a coating of nonstick spray. Place the wings inside and generously spray or drizzle them with cooking spray or oil as well.
- Cook for 35 minutes until they achieve a golden brown and crispy texture, remembering to flip the chicken wings halfway through the cooking time. Note: Remember, the air fry time will be different for different quantities.
- Garnish with some grated Parseman cheese and chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately on its own or with your favorite dip.

Notes
Consider these key points when preparing these delectable crispy garlic parmesan wings.
- Bring the wings to room temperature by taking them out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Allowing the wings to reach room temperature before placing them in the air fryer ensures they remain juicy during the cooking process.
- Ensure thorough drying of the wings by using a paper towel. Be meticulous in removing all moisture from the wings, facilitating an extra crispy texture.
- Avoid overcrowding the wings in the air fryer basket. Provide ample space between each wing to allow for proper air circulation, ensuring they achieve a crispy texture. If your quantity exceeds the basket capacity, consider cooking the wings in batches.
- When applying an egg wash to the chicken, it’s crucial to use a gentle touch and avoid excessive coating. Over-coating may lead to a dense and soggy breading or coating that doesn’t achieve optimal crispiness. For the best results, it is advised to dip the chicken in the egg wash, shake off any excess, and then coat it with the preferred breading or coating.
