Description

This Kairi Onion Cheese Fritters recipe is a dish that will go perfectly with your evening tea. This is a north Indian recipe and very popular also as kanda bhajiya. But here i have given a twist by adding raw mango or kairi with cheese loaded in middle thatโ€™s my favorite part.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium – Onion sliced
  • 2 medium – Raw mango grated
  • 1 cup – Besan or chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup – Rice Flour
  • 1/2 tbsp – Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp – Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp – Coriander powder
  • 1/3 tbsp – Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tbsp – Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp – Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 3– Green chilly chopped
  • 1 cup– Coriander leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add besan, rice flour, turmeric powder, cummin powder, corriander powder, black pepper powder, kashmiri red chilly powder and Salt to taste. Mix everything well.
  2. Add mozzarella cheese grated, green chilly chopped, corriander leaves chopped, onion sliced and raw mango grated. Mix everything well.
  3. Add little water to mixture and make a semi hard batter.
  4. Take Some batter and add little cheese ball in middle and then again add a little batter on top as shown in video.
  5. Heat oil in pan on high flame and add fritter one by one and cook on medium flame so that it cooks from inside also.
  6. Cook till crisp and golden brown.
  7. Take out on tissue paper to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the melting cheese in middle of the fritters ๐Ÿ˜‹.
