Description
Cheese pizza smashed potatoes air fryer is a tasty and entertaining way to create a gluten-free pizza and use up your leftover potatoes! They work in your oven or air fryer to get them extra crispy, and we devoured them in a matter of minutes.

- 7 to 8 Medium – Gold Potatoes or baby potatoes
- 1 cup – Shredded cheese mozzarella
- 3 – Salami or ham frozen
- 1/2 cup – Pizza sauce or tomato ketchup
- Oregano as required
- Red chili flakes as required
- Black pepper powder as required
- Olive oil / Plain oil as required
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Take a pen cap or tiny round cutter if you have one. Now take the chicken or ham salami.
- Just cut small round pieces.
- Take out the small salami pieces with the help of a kitchen tweezer as shown below.
- Heat water in a pan and add the potatoes.
- Cover with a lid and boil them for 20 minutes on high flame till they are semi-soft.
- In the meantime Heat oil in a pan.
- Add the small round salami pieces and fry for 2 minutes.
- Take them out once they are golden brown or red in color.
- Now check the potatoes if are semi-boiled with the help of a fork. If they get inserted nicely that means they are done. Turn of the flame and take out the potatoes in a bowl.
- Take a board or tray or air fryer basket and add parchment or butter paper then put potatoes on it which we have boiled semi-soft.
- Now slit the potatoes Cris cross angle with a knife but do not cut fully till the bottom.
- Now keep a small piece of butter paper on top of the potatoes and then smash it with a help of a glass or bowl. Keep the smashed potatoes a little thick.
- Repeat the same process in the air fryer basket put parchment paper on the potatoes then a small piece of butter paper and smash it. Now add salt and pepper to the smashed potatoes.
- Now brush or spray olive or vegetable oil. Now air fry them at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes till they are crispy. Add potatoes according to your air fryer basket size.
- Take them out after 20 minutes when they get crispy.
- Now add pizza sauce or tomato ketchup to the crispy smashed potatoes.
- Now add shredded cheese to the pizza sauce.
- Now add fried small salami or ham, red chili flakes, and oregano, and crush some pink salt and black pepper powder.
- Now Airfryer them for 2 minutes at 400 degrees F till the cheese melts.
- Delicious crispy cheesy smashed potatoes are ready to be served hot.
- Take them out and garnish them with chopped parsley.

Notes
- In the first step, avoid overboiling your potatoes. They won’t keep their shape when smashed if they are overcooked or overboiled since they will be too soft. Thus, boil potatoes until they are barely fork soft, then drain!
- These mashed potatoes with pizza toppings are air fryer compatible! To accomplish that, follow the recipe through roasting. Next, for 15-20 minutes, cook them in the air fryer at 400° Fahrenheit rather than roasting them in the oven.
