This recipe really kicks me back into gear whenever I am feeling under the weather. Fresh blueberries are so delicious when they’re in season.

When you drink your meal, you should make sure that you’re consuming protein-rich foods. An anti-oxidant blueberry orange smoothie packed with all the good stuff.

If you want to pack in the vitamins, while still being able to enjoy the flavor you crave, smoothies are the way to go instead of eating a carb-heavy breakfast. A fruity flavor combination like this really can’t be beaten.

As much as I enjoy smoothies, I want to place them in the category of a meal since they are often part of them.

My favorite superfoods, protein-packed + nourishing grass-fed collagen, healthy fats, no sweetener (or a very little natural sweetener), organic produce, and products high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are all vital to me.

About Blueberry Orange Smoothie Recipe

My obsession with smoothies starts returning during the summer hot days. An ice-cold smoothie full of nutrients tastes even better on a hot day.

This homemade smoothies recipe is so simple, and it can also be made in large quantities. In the fridge, I keep the ingredients quadrupled every day for a delicious shake. The smoothie is extremely helpful when you’re running late and need to grab something quickly before leaving.

It is my new favorite breakfast, and I also like to eat it as an afternoon snack (and it is hydrating). Despite having blueberries and oranges, this shake doesn’t seem heavy like one of those intense protein shakes that causes you to feel weighed down.

Chew on your blueberry smoothie recipe. Although that sounds strange, it aids digestion. It helps produce digestive enzymes (that are found in saliva) just by moving your mouth.

By chewing your smoothie or even swishing it around in your mouth for a little while, you can give these enzymes more time to start breaking it down, which will facilitate digestion.

To make your smoothie more exciting, try adding toppings (fresh fruit, granola, coconut flakes, hemp seeds, etc.) or make it into a smoothie bowl so you can chew on some textures while drinking it.

When you blend frozen fruit in a high-speed blender, you can save time and money by reducing the water needed to dilute it, giving your smoothie a more concentrated taste.

Important Suggestion To Keep In Mind

  • Straws make smoothies more fun for kids! In order to guarantee your child drinks the entire smoothie, I strongly advise you to serve smoothies with reusable straws.
  • As well as fresh blueberries, you can also use frozen blueberries.
  • Use vegan yogurt instead of plain if you want to make it vegan
  • Add raw honey or maple syrup to your smoothie if you desire a sweeter beverage. A natural sweetener can also be added by removing the pits from 1-2 Medjool dates first.

What are the benefits of Vitamin C?

Parents and teachers taught us vitamins C was important for health, that vitamin C was good for us. The list goes on. I’m not sure about you, but I never paid that much attention to why it’s so healthy for us.

My eating habits have changed as I become an adult and more knowledgeable about what I am putting into my body. I also refrain from eating too much pasta and cheese anymore.

Vitamin C is what your body needs to keep you strong. In the event that you are feeling sick, it is good to take extra of it to boost your immune system.

As well as preserving your bones and teeth, it also helps maintain your cartilage. The importance of it is just as great as it was when we were kids!
