  1. Set your air fryer’s temperature for three to five minutes at 400°F (200°C).To keep the air fryer basket from sticking, line it with parchment paper or give it quick spray of cooking spray.
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli with a clean, dry kitchen towel before preparing it. To ensure consistent cooking, cut the broccoli into large florets that are all about the same size.
  3. Add one teaspoon of salt to big saucepan of boiling water.
  4. When the water is boiling, add the broccoli florets and blanch for approximately two minutes.
  5. To stop the cooking process, quickly remove the broccoli from the boiling water and place it in bowl of ice water, or give it quick rinse under cold water.
  6. After thoroughly draining, pat dry the broccoli with paper towels or kitchen towel. Arrange the blanched and dehydrated broccoli florets on level surface, such as an air fryer tray or chopping board.
  7. Each broccoli floret should be lightly crushed, but not mashed, using the bottom of small glass or potato masher.
  8. Transfer the mashed broccoli to parchment-paper-lined plate or tray.
  9. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, ginger powder, paprika powder, onion powder, and salt to taste.
  10. Now brush some olive oil over the broccoli with this mixture of olive oil.
  11. Dredge the broccoli in generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese, making sure every piece is covered.
  12. Avoid crowding the air fryer basket as you gently add the seasoned and cheese-topped broccoli florets in single layer.
  13. For approximately 12 to 15 minutes, or until the broccoli is soft and the cheese is crisp and golden, air fry the broccoli at 400°F (200°C).
